Why the SAPA Scholarship Matters

The SAPA Scholarship Program provides financial support to young performers who pursue excellence in both academics and pageantry.

The SAPA Scholarship provides financial awards to exceptional performers who are high school seniors or current college students. Programs and participants are encouraged to submit applications before the deadline.

Each year, SAPA invites all units participating in Championships to nominate outstanding performers. A review committee composed of members from SAPA and the broader pageantry arts community evaluates each applicant on their academic achievements, artistic contributions, and personal character.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a member of a SAPA unit participating in Championships
  • Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled in college
  • Must demonstrate academic, artistic, and personal excellence

Application Requirements

  • Complete the official scholarship application form
  • Submit your transcripts
  • Upload a recent headshot
  • Follow the current recommendation instructions provided in the application

Important: Application Deadline — Saturday, March 1, 2026. No late submissions will be accepted.

Scholarship Guidelines

  • The recipient must be in their senior year of high school or currently attending a college or university.
  • The recipient must be an active marching member of a unit that is a registered 2026 SAPA member.
  • Units may submit more than one applicant; however, the unit director must submit a recommendation letter for each applicant.
  • Scholarships will be paid by check directly to the college or university.
  • Funds may be used for tuition, books, and room and board.
  • Any unused scholarship funds must be returned to SAPA.
  • Scholarships will not be less than $1,000 per recipient.
  • The scholarship is granted for one year only, but recipients may reapply in a future season if they remain eligible.
  • Selections will be made by a committee appointed by the SAPA Executive Board.
  • Scholarships will be presented at SAPA Championships.

Applications for the 2026 scholarships must be submitted no later than March 1, 2026.
