Share your experience. Support performers. Help shape the future of the activity as a SAPA color guard judge.

How do I become a color guard judge?

Do you love the color guard activity? Enjoy learning its history or watching winter guard videos? Get excited to see new ideas every season, and consider giving back? You might be a great fit for judging. We welcome experienced performers, instructors, designers, and choreographers who wish to support the next generation in their growth.

Why are new judges needed?

Growing Circuit

More teams and contests mean we need qualified judges to serve all groups equitably.

Current Perspective

Recent teaching or design experience helps deliver relevant, actionable feedback.

Educational Impact

Great judging elevates programs, supports educators, and enhances student growth.
