PRESIDENT'S NOTES
On behalf of everyone here at the Southern Association for Performance
Arts, I would like to personally thank you for an amazing inaugural
season. Last year we had over 100 members and over 80 performances at
SAPA championships! 2007 has been truly special thanks to your hard
dedication to our cause- is to continue to perpetuate the growth of
this activity; an activity that has given so much to us.
If this is your first visit to sapaonline.net, welcome to our site! We
have some very exciting things on the horizon here at SAPA and we hope
that you choose to be a part of what I think is going to be YET
ANOTHER AMAZING season.
This is a very exciting time for our new circuit. We have been
approached with several sponsorships from companies and many other
outside organizations, who are just as excited about our progress as
the many people who have committed their membership to our circuit.
Our administration is very passionate about this activity and, more
importantly, wants nothing but the best for our directors, staff,
performers and spectators.
Our region has consistently produced extremely successful programs
year after year, and we continue to have more and more units emerge. I have been involved in the pageantry arts as either a director or
administrator for over seventeen years. I am also a former president
of the Southeastern Colorguard Circuit (SCGC). Those of you who know
me know that I have always been dedicated to the success of our young
people. With so many obstacles in the way of the success of our
students these days, I feel that it is important that we give them
every opportunity to excel. Education is the key to success, and SAPA
is devoted to the education of its members. Please join our membership
as we break new ground and make 2008 a fantastic season for our kids!
Join us as we usher in a new SAPA season based on Education,
Performance, Strong Leadership and Friendship! If you have any
questions about our SAPA family or upcoming events please feel free to
email me.
